By subscribing to Wisal Academy or using this site, you agree to the terms below. Please read them before completing a subscription.
The service
The academy provides live one-to-one online lessons in Quran memorisation, tajweed, tafsir and foundational Arabic reading, taught by certified male and female teachers. Lessons are one-to-one unless a track's description states otherwise.
Account and registration
- The details you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
- An account for a student under eighteen is registered in the parent's name, and the parent is responsible for its use.
- Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
Scheduling and cancellation
- Lesson times are agreed between student and teacher before the subscription begins.
- Cancelling at least six hours in advance entitles you to a replacement lesson.
- Absence without notice counts as a lesson used.
- If a teacher misses a lesson for any reason, it is replaced in full and the parent is notified.
Subscription and payment
- Billing is monthly and renews automatically on the same date each month unless you stop renewal.
- Prices are shown in your local currency where available and include VAT. Where the gateway settles in Saudi riyals, the amount charged follows the exchange rate on the day of payment.
- You may stop renewal at any time; your subscription continues until the end of the paid period.
- Unused lessons do not roll over to the following month except through the freeze allowance in your plan.
Refunds
- You may request a full refund within seven days of your first payment if you have used no more than two lessons.
- After that, refunds are calculated on unused lessons only.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method within the period set by your card issuer.
Student and parent obligations
- Attend on time with a suitable internet connection and a quiet place for the lesson.
- Treat the teacher with respect and observe the etiquette of a Quran circle.
- Recording or publishing lessons without prior written permission from the academy is not permitted.
Intellectual property
The curricula, plans, reports and all written and visual material produced by the academy belong to it. The student is granted a personal, non-commercial right to use them. They may not be republished, sold or used to teach a third party.
Suspension of service
The academy may suspend an account without refund in cases of abuse towards a teacher or other students, account sharing, or attempted payment fraud.
Limitation of liability
The academy is not responsible for lessons interrupted by causes outside its control, such as loss of internet or power at the student's end. Where the interruption originates with the academy or the teacher, the lesson is replaced.
